    Hello! I'm looking at a CAT 305 Mini Excavator and came across what looks like a solid offer from Granite Trail Equipment Company on https://granitetrailequipment.com The site looks good, but I'm cautious about buying without seeing the machine in person. The unit is about 1,170 miles away and the seller suggests arranging shipping to me. Has anyone here purchased heavy equipment from Granite Trail Equipment Company or from another online dealer? I’d appreciate any real-world experiences, what to watch for, and tips that helped your transaction go smoothly. Thanks in advance!

    Very organized operation. Invoice was clear, transportation was arranged quickly and communication stayed good after they received payment. That last part is especially important

    I wasn't comfortable buying a machine online so I decided to drive out and see it myself. Took me three days to get everything arranged and by the time I got there the excavator I wanted had already sold. Ended up choosing another one they had available and honestly I'm glad I did, it's been a great machine

    Friendly and always helpful! Nice folks, clean well maintained equipment at a fair price BUT sometimes it's hard to call'em because they are busy

    Only downside is they don't offer their own financing, so I had to go through my bank. Took a few extra days to get everything approved but the price made it worth the trouble. This is my second machine from them and both have been excellent

    I almost bought a similar excavator locally just because I could physically see it. This one was priced considerably better, so I decided to give them a chance. After delivery I’m glad I did

    We’ve had the machine for a while now and it’s been solid. I intentionally waited before leaving feedback because I wanted to actually work it first, not review it five minutes after delivery

    One thing that stood out was they were just as responsive after the sale as they were before it. Anybody can answer quickly when they’re trying to get your money. Good businesses still answer afterward

    Good place to go for rentals always have what you need prices are good too
